What a wonderful and blessed Sunday! The day began with God’s refreshing rain, setting the tone for an incredible time of worship and fellowship.

🌿 First Early Morning English Service kicked off beautifully with the NSVS Choir, leading us into worship before a powerful sermon on the advantages of accepting Jesus as Lord and Savior at an early age.

🌿 The NPC Luganda Service at 10 AM led by the Youth was just as impactful, with Ephesians 2:13 as our icebreaker:
“But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.”
This prepared our hearts for the deeper message in Ephesians 3—a chapter that reminds us of God’s boundless love and His ability to do immeasurably more than we ask or imagine.

🎶 A Special Worship Moment – I had the privilege of leading the congregation in a Jamaican hymn, “Mind Made Up”, and the response was incredible! The crowd absolutely loved it, singing along in unity and lifting up praises to God. It was truly a powerful moment of worship.

🌿 Saturday’s Covenant Walk with Jovan Lule – We had a special session on domestic violence, addressing its alarming increase in Uganda. The discussion focused on extreme cases where lives are lost and men suffer brutal attacks, including genital mutilation during fights. It was an eye-opening and much-needed conversation, shedding light on the need for awareness, intervention, and healing.

🔵 The Form One Show started at its usual time, though Makayla and Agatha were noticeably absent—captivated by the dance battles! But the energy stayed high as we kicked off with our newest members: Ryan, Jaylene, Melissa, and Amil. Luckily, we had hosted the full panel on Saturday as we prepared for the second episode, where all members actively contributed. Later, Agatha rejoined, and we wrapped up with everyone sharing their favorite sermons on air, along with music requests from the audience.

🎙️ Real Talk followed, featuring an honest and raw conversation with Precious, Flavia, Don Precious, Paul Williams, and Prosper K Kato (all from Form 3). We delved deep into peer pressure, faith, and how school shapes life beyond the classroom. The show ended on a high note, with so many students actively involved in the production—including Drake Murungi behind the camera and an amazing team handling lights and support.

💡 Friday Night’s “The Expert” was a wonderful and insightful session on Monkeypox (MPox) with Mr. Pituwa Emmanuel and Dr. John Elongat of Jjanda Medical Center at Children’s Welfare Mission. They started by congratulating the candidates who sat for their exams and excelled last year before diving into an informative discussion on MPox—its prevention, effects, and much more. The session ended on a very positive note, leaving us all more informed and aware.
