Account Information: When you register, we collect your name and email address. If you sign in with Google, we receive your Google profile information (name, email, profile picture).
Authentication Data: For email/OTP login, we temporarily generate and send a one-time password to your email. No passwords are stored.
Usage Data: We may collect data about your interactions with the Service, such as tracks you play, likes, playlists, and video views to improve our content recommendations.
Device Information: Basic device information (operating system, browser type) may be collected for analytics and debugging.

2. How We Use Your Information

To authenticate your identity and provide access to the Service.
To personalize your experience (e.g., saved playlists, liked tracks).
To improve our content, features, and user interface.
To communicate with you regarding Service updates, security alerts, or support inquiries.
To enforce our terms and protect against fraud or abuse.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your account data (name, email, playlists, likes) is stored locally on your device (via browser localStorage) and also synced with our secure servers when you perform actions like liking a track or creating a playlist. We use industry-standard encryption (HTTPS) to protect data in transit. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

4. Third-Party Services

We use Google Sign-In to offer convenient authentication. When you use Google Sign-In, you agree to Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. We do not share your personal information with other third parties except as required by law.

5. Cookies & Local Storage

We use browser local storage to save your login session, theme preference, playlists, and likes. This allows the app to work offline and remember your settings. No tracking cookies are used for advertising.

6. Children’s Privacy

Our Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us to have it removed.

7. Your Rights & Choices

You can update your email and profile information within the app settings.
You can delete your account by contacting support (data will be removed from our servers).
You may request a copy of your data by emailing us.
You can opt out of promotional communications (we only send essential service emails).

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy occasionally. The latest version will always be available at this URL. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

User Policy & Terms of Service

By accessing or using NPC Media, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Account Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

2. Content Usage & Ownership

All audio, video, and text content provided on NPC Media is owned by NPC Productions or its licensors. You may stream content for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not download, redistribute, or publicly perform any content without explicit permission.

If you upload any content (e.g., comments, profiles), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content within the Service.

3. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any illegal purpose or to harass, abuse, or harm others.
Attempt to interfere with the proper functioning of the Service (e.g., hacking, scraping).
Circumvent any access controls or attempt to access content not intended for you.
Impersonate any person or entity.

4. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these terms or if required by law. You may delete your account at any time from the app settings.

5. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. To the fullest extent permitted by law, NPC Media shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

6. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by the laws of Uganda, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

                 Important: By using NPC Media, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Privacy Policy and User Agreement.
