HOPE THAT HOLDS

HOPE THAT HOLDS

HOPE THAT HOLDS

Scripture: “We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure.” — Hebrews 6:19

🌅 There’s something powerful about waking up with hope in your spirit.

Today at NPC Radio, our daily devotional comes wrapped in the strength of hope — that quiet, relentless fire that keeps burning even in the middle of the storm.

DEVOTIONAL

There’s a kind of hope that doesn’t shake. It doesn’t waver with the storm or collapse in the darkness. That kind of hope isn’t wishful thinking — it’s a holy anchor.

Hope is not ignoring the chaos. It’s trusting in something greater than the chaos. And for us, as children of God, that “something” is a Someone — our Father in Heaven.

Have you ever been in a place where everything seemed out of control? Maybe you’ve faced rejection, sickness, failure, or loss. Maybe your plans have fallen apart one after another. In moments like those, it’s easy to feel like giving up — like the storm will never end.

But that’s where true hope rises.

The Bible says in Hebrews 6:19, “We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure.”
An anchor does something powerful — it keeps the boat from drifting when the wind picks up and the waters get rough. Hope in Jesus does the same. It holds you. It secures your heart. It reminds you: God is not done with me

Hope doesn’t mean you won’t cry.
Hope doesn’t mean you won’t doubt.
Hope doesn’t even mean you won’t fall.

But hope does mean you’ll rise again, because Jesus is holding your hand through every season.

👉 Today, choose to hope anyway.

  • When the grades don’t look like what you prayed for.
  • When the job didn’t come.
  • When people walk away.
  • When your future seems blurry.

Hope anyway — because your story is not over.
As long as Jesus is alive (and He is), your hope is alive too.

PRAYER OF THE DAY:

Father God,
Thank You for the anchor of hope that holds me steady.
When life gets hard and I feel like I’m sinking, remind me that You are near.
Help me not to put my trust in temporary things, but in You — the God who sees, who loves, and who never gives up on me.
Today I choose to hope again.
In Jesus’ Name,
Amen.
